There is still time to register for the Yarmouth Seniors 50-plus Expo.
It takes place Saturday September 29 at Par-en-Bas School in Tusket.
This year features workshops including making your home safe from falls, financial wellness for seniors, how to contact support groups and a session with Wastecheck on managing waste in your home.
Sandra Hubbard-LeBlanc with the VON Tri-County says there’s lots of fun too.
“We’ll have line dancing and a “Days Gone By” fashion show with music and some local history.
She says the Seniors Expo is very popular with good attendance each year.
There is a deadline of Friday Sept 21 to pre-register but she says they still welcome late registration.

The event is co-hosted by VON Tri-County, Nova Scotia Health Authority South West area, Western Regional Housing Authority, Argyle Recreation department Senior Safety Program and Senior Consultants.
