Those who dislike navigating through the intersection of Starrs Road and Brunswick Street should mark April 14th on the calendar.
That’s when new traffic lights are expected to be operational.
It’s been almost a year since the lights at the busy intersection have been out.
Mayor Pam Mood says all the equipment including the aluminium poles and the truss arms came in last week.
“The contractor is coming next week to start the work and he’s hoping the lights will be installed and up and running by the 14th of April, so here’s hoping.”
Some motorists , like the mayor, thought traffic flowed more smoothly without the lights.
