The Yarmouth Thunder U14 boys basketball team are provincial champions.
They defeated Acadia 55-26 in the championship game over the weekend in Pictou.
Yarmouth got by the Pictou County Raptors 42-35 in the semifinal game.
Before that, they lost their first game 34-28 to Acadia, but later beat Bedford 60-27.
Yarmouth’s Ben LeBlanc was named tournament MVP.
