Public health officials in Nova Scotia have confirmed two cases of measles that are believed to be related.
In a release, the Nova Scotia Health Authority says people at certain locations in the Digby area may have been exposed….
The Dockside Restaurant on March 17, Roof Hound Brewing Company between March 17 and March 18 and the Sunset Pub on March 17.
Those exposed at the locations may develop symptoms between now and April 11, 2017.
Dr. Lynda Earle, medical officer of health for South West, South Shore and Annapolis Valley, says the risk to the public is low because most people have been vaccinated.
She says more cases of measles could develop, but they are working to contain the spread of the virus.
