Louis d’Entremont says he’ll focus on high speed Internet, the Wedgeport school and transportation and infrastructure for the region.
d’Entremont, a partner at d’Entremont-Boudreau law firm, was nominated last week.
He says he believes he has a lot to offer.
“I’ve represented people all my life as a lawyer. I’ve represented fishermen for over 34 years. I’ve also represented hunters and anglers because I’m part of the Nova Scotia Federation of Anglers and Hunters, an organization that advocates for anglers and hunters and trappers as well.”
d’Entremont says a big issue right now is the electoral boundaries.
He made two presentations to the Electoral Boundaries Commission in 2012, opposing any change.
The NDP government did change the boundaries.
