The Yarmouth Boys and Girls Club will be operating its daycare from a temporary location for a few more months.
The building on Bond Street was extensively damaged by a broken pipe late last year.
The Town of Yarmouth allowed the club to run its daycare from the former South Centennial Elementary School, which the town owns.
Executive Director Jody Pothier says repairs will start soon.
“They’ve pretty much finished all the demolition and they’re starting with the rebuilding, electrical work, plumbing and rebuilding walls.”
Pothier says they hope to be back in their own building by the end of September or the beginning of October.
They moved into that building 50 years ago in August.
