Halifax District RCMP is looking for someone who attempted to move a vehicle from its parking spot at a gift shop at Peggy’s Cove, causing two women to sustain injuries.
The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.
The man was not the owner but tried to move the Toyota Rav4 as it was blocking traffic.
He was unsuccessful but appears to have left the SUV in neutral before leaving.
The vehicle was parked on an incline and began to roll, knocking a woman down and running over her hand and pinning another against a large rock.
Neither women suffered serious injuries but were transported to hospital via EHS.
The man is described as being in his forties and with black hair.
Police are looking for more information on the person and are asking anyone who knows his identity to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020.
