A recall has been issued on certain kitchen knives because they can break while you’re using them.
The brand of the recalled knives is Calphalon Contemporary Cutlery and over 2200 of the affected products were sold in Canada between September 2008 to December 2016.
The company has received 43 reports of the blades breaking in Canada.
While there haven’t been any reported injuries in our country, there have been 27 reported cuts in the U.S. including four injuries that needed stitches.
If you have any of the recalled products, stop use immediately and contact the company for a free replacement.
