Make it three straight road wins for the Yarmouth Junior A Mariners.
They came through tonight in St. Stephen with a 3-2 overtime win.
Two first period goals by team leading scorer Aaron Maillet had the Mariners out in front 2-0 until about mid-way through the third period.
The Aces’ Adam Crowe was awarded a penalty shot and scored on Justin Ritcey.
Brandon Dauphinee would tie it for the home team with 1:40 left, forcing overtime.
But it was Max Robitaille who scored in extra time on a breakaway, beating Kyle Michalovsky with a beautiful move to win the game.
Ritcey finished with 28 saves.
Yarmouth remained two points back of the Pictou County Weeks Crushers for first place overall in the MHL with eight games left.
The Crushers defeated the Tigers 12-2 in Campbellton.
Also, Truro hammered Amherst 8-1.
The Mariners visit the Woodstock Slammers tomorrow night.
