Tyler Caseley had a season to remember in 2018-19, on his way to being named the MHL Rookie of the Year.
Part of an all-rookie tandem in Yarmouth with Alec MacVicar, the 18-year-old from Kensington, P.E.I. put up a 25-7-1-1 record (2nd most wins in the MHL), finishing fifth in goals against average with a 2.55 mark, and holding a .911 save percentage (tied for 6th) with two shutouts.
In 24 of his 36 games played, Caseley allowed two or fewer goals. He also played the fourth most minutes in the MHL with 1,930.
Caseley was quick out of the gate in September with a 6-0-0-1 record, 1.39 goals against average, and .949 save percentage on his way to being named the Gongshow 2nd Star of the Month and Rookie of the Month.
He was selected in the 8th round, 114th overall, by Yarmouth in the 2017 draft.
