Nova Scotia Power says it’s goal is to have 95 per cent of its customers who remain without power, back on the grid by 11 o’clock tonight.
As of noon time, hundreds of customers in the Tri-Counties were still without power since the storm hit hard yesterday morning.
Most of them are in Shelburne County.

Sasha Irving of NSP says repair crews are still working through waste deep snow to reach the trouble spots.
She says their estimated times of restoration should improve.
“As our crews are getting to areas that are difficult to access they are field validating. They get eyes on the damage then they provide an update back into the outage map so that customers have an updated estimated restoration time, so we should see those moving around today”.
