The Tri County Regional School Board has closed schools for a second day as the clean up continues from yesterday’s blizzard.
Classes are cancelled in the Clare and Argyle regions of the CSAP and NSCC Burridge, Digby and Shelburne campuses
will remain closed.
The Dalhousie School of Nursing in Yarmouth has cancelled morning classes.
There are still multiple power outages in the Tri-Counties.
Nova Scotia Power is giving varying estimated times of restoration from 11am until 11pm tonight, some locations
have no times of restoration.
Shelburne County is still the hardest hit.
Outages include Lockeport, West Green Harbour, Rockland, Ragged Island, Jordan Ferry, Lower Ohio, Cape Negro, Upper Port Latour,
Smithsville, Baccaro, Clark’s Harbour, Newellton, North East Point and Stoney Island.
In Digby County there are outages in Tiverton, Freeport and Brier Island.

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal tweeted that most of the gravel roads in Yarmouth County are plowed.
It says graders are finishing the remaining roads.
