The Yarmouth Whitecaps returned from Wolfville through the first trough of the storm to hit the province after a very successful meet. Each swimmer placed and performed their best times. The top six places in each age group final event were given points as well as the relays. Here are the results by age and gender:
12 and Under females:
Chiara Carbonell-1st 50 Fly, 2nd 50 Free, 4th 50 Back and 200 Back and 5th 200 Free.
Carly d’Entremont-Alternate 50 Breast
13-14 Girls
Emily Barrro-3rd 200 Fly
Natasha d’Entremont-3rd 200 Back, and 50 Back, 5th in 50 Free and 6th in 100 Fly.
Rachael Cameron-Alternate in the 100 Fly winning the swim off for 7th place, and 5th in the 50 Fly.
Chloe Durling-1rst in the 50 Breast and 3rd in the 100 Breast Bria Mac Kinnon-4th in the 200 Breast and alternate in the 50 Breast.
The 13-14 Female 4 X 100 Free relay with Chloe Durling, Natasha d’Entremont Bria MacKinnon and Rachael Cameron placed 4th.
The 13-14 Female 4 X 50 Free relay with Kaylee MacLeay, Chloe Durling, Natasha d’Entremont and Rachael Cameron placed 6th.
The 13-14 Female Medley relaly with Natasha d’Entremont, Bria MacKinnon, Emilie Barro and Rachael Cameron placed 4th.
15 and Over Females
Sylvia Thibault Placed 3rd in the 800 Free, and 1rst in the 200 Back.
Hannah Maillet Placed 3rd in the 200 Free, 4th in the 100 Free and 100 Fly, and 6th in the 50 Fly.
The Senior Female 4 X100 Free Placed 4th with Hannah Maillet, Sylvia Thibault, Kaylee Macleay and Emilie Barro.
The Senior Female 4 X 50 Free Relay placed 3rd with Hannah Maillet, Sylvia Thibault, Chiara Carbonell and Carly d’Entremont.
The Senior Female 4 X 50 Medley Relay placed 3rd with Sylvia Thibault, Carly d’Entremont, Hannah Maillet, and Chloe Durling.
Parker Deveau placed 1st in the 100 Free, 4th in the 50 Fly and 50 Free, and 6th in the 200 Free.
Alec d’Entremont placed1st in the 200 Breast, 1st in the 100 Breast, 2nd in the 400 Free, 2nd in the 200 IM, and 2nd in the 200 Free.
15 and over Males-
Andre d’Entremont placed 4th in the 100 Back, and 4th in the 50 Free, and the 100 Fly, Brock Emin-5th in the 50 Free, 6th in the 100 Fly and the 50 Free.
The Senior Men’s 4 X100 Free Relay were 1st and 3rd in the 4X 50 Medley Relay with Parker Deveau, Alec d’Entremont, Andre d’Entremont and Brock Emin.
The Mixed Male and Female 4 X 100 Free Relay with Alec d’Entremont, Chloe Durling, Natasha d’Entremont and Andre d’Entremont placed 1st.

Captains Choice Trucking Bantam B Mariners played Acadia in two exhibition games at the Mariners Centre on Saturday.
Acadia won 2-1.
Scoring for Yarmouth was Drew d’Entremont unassisted.
In nets was Austin Surette
They tied the second game 2-2.
Scoring for Yarmouth was Drew d”Entremont and Kailen Saulnier. Assists went to Tristan d”Entremont with 2, Connor Boudreau
and Nick d”Entremont each had 1.

The O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes lost 4-2 yesterday to the Kings Mutual Valley Wildcats in Yarmouth.
It was the first time the Hurricanes had played a home game at Mariners Centre.
Ben Charles scored for the Hurricanes in his hometown, and Mason MacLean had the other goal.
The loss kept the Hurricanes one point back of Bedford for third place in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League standings.
The Hurricanes play their final regular season game against the All-Credit Auto Rangers on Saturday, 5pm in Liverpool.

The Wades Wire Traps/Five Star Roofing Bantam AA Mariners gained 4 more points over the weekend with 2 wins against the South Shore Sharks.
They won Game 1 in Yarmouth 5 to 4.
Scoring for the Mariners; Jay Deviller, Ryan Warner, Donovan Mullen, Gavin O’Connell and Brennan Smith.
Gavin O’Connell had 2 assists; Denver d’Entremont, Zach Richardson (AP) and Brennan Smith had 1 assist each.
Liam Campbell was in nets and player of the game was given to Gavin O’Connell.
They beat the Sharks in 6-4 in Game 2 in Bridgewater on Sunday.
Scoring for Yarmouth; Hayden Young and Zach d’Arcy with 2 goals each; Andre d’Entremont and Brennan Smith each had 1.
Ryan Warner, Teagan Scott, Zach Richardson (AP), Jay Deviller, Denver d’Entremont and Blake Goodwin had 1 assist each.
Charlie Banks was in nets and player of the game went to Zach d’Arcy.

Scotiabank Western Riptide West Atom A Girls had 4 road games this weekend.
On Saturday they played 2 games. They won their first game 7-0 and lost the second game 2-1.
On Sunday they played 2 games. They won both those games 4-0.

The Spears and MacLeod Pharmasave PeeWee AA Mariners played 2 games against the West Hants Warriors at the Mariners Centre Sunday.
The first game ended in a 6-6 tie.
The Mariners had 3 goals from Connor Prouty, 2 goals from Cameron Kerr and 1 goal from Ben LeBlanc.
The Mariners won the second game with a score of 8-3. Spencer Surette and Orren Hatfield each had a hat-trick for Yarmouth. Jaden Kerr and Connor Prouty each scored 1 goal.
Colby Saulnier was in net for the Mariners.
