Tonight, the snow will be heavy at times with 30 to 40 cm forecast.
Winds will blowing up to 100km/h in some areas.
Bill Thurston with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal base in Yarmouth says it’s been busy in the garage.
“We’re replacing some of the plow blades in some of the trucks, and others are getting serviced so we’ll have them ready to go for tonight.”

Thurston says crews have already put brine down on the 100-series.
Tomorrow will be clean-up day as the storm tapers off to flurries.
Nova Scotia Power issued a release today, saying they are preparing for power outages due to the storm.
NS Power is asking its customers to prepare now as well.
Some tips include having an emergency kit that includes flashlights, a battery-powered radio and fresh water, ensuring backup generators are installed properly outdoors and charging mobile devices.
