Most municipalities in Southwestern Nova Scotia continue to help residents without water.
That includes the Municipality of Argyle.

They are supplying four-litre jugs of drinking water for residents at many fire halls.
There is also non-drinking water available at several locations including the municipal office in Tusket.
Showers at some local schools are open for public use.
About 10-15 millimetres of rain is forecast for Sunday.
Argyle CAO Alain Muise says residents should try to gather some of that rain, if they can.
“These times call for those kinds of measures. For those that haven’t thought of that, put out the equipment to collect water from gutters, etc, so at least that type of water could be used for flushing the toilet.”

In the Municipality of Yarmouth, many wells continue to dry up.
Staff continue to direct residents to Mariners Centre for water fill-ups and shower usage.
Residents can acquire water tokens from the Town of Yarmouth at town hall for 250 gallon water fill-ups at the Lake George Water Tower.
Four litre jugs of drinking water are available at the Municipal office in Hebron, as well as many local fire departments.
Local business BRAMAC on Starrs Road is offering free water today and tomorrow from their indoor u-fill water machine.
