The Yarmouth Mariners are down to their last two home games.
It’s the final weekend of junior hockey for four players.
Paradise, Newfoundland’s Ryan Loveless has scored over 100 points between the Mariners and Edmundston Blizzard in his career.
He says Yarmouth is a special place to play.
“This is where I always wanted to go. It was on my radar before I was traded here, and the rest is history,” said Loveless.
He joined the Mariners in October, 2024.
Loveless says it’s been amazing.
“It means a lot. This place, this town and the community, it’s just been great and I’ve loved it.”
Loveless says he’s hoping to continue his hockey career in school next season.
The Mariners host Valley Saturday and Amherst on Sunday.
Other 20 year old’s graduating include goaltender Keegan Warren, captain and defender Jano Zambakdjian and forward Liam Dutcher.
