Improvements are coming to a popular tourist trail in Digby County.
Ottawa announced over $37,000 in funding for the Balancing Rock Trail.
The work will help the municipality redesign the viewing platform in Tiverton, along with accessibility and safety improvements.
Digby Warden Linda Gregory says Balancing Rock is one of their most iconic tourist attractions, and draws in visitors from around the world.
The 2.5 kilometre trail on Long Island attracts 10,000 visitors each year.
The municipality and province are also contributing to the project.
