Sad news for Ozzy Osbourne fans as the petition to rename Birmingham International Airport in honor of the late musician Wasn’t enough to sway CEO Nick Barton.
Barton stated “Birmingham has an extraordinary list of influential people ranging from Charles Darwin to Robert Plant and Sir Lenny Henry, but the answer is no” despite the petitions 80,000 signatures.
Fans remain Undeterred though, aiming for an actual prince of darkness airport elsewhere as the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Code POD is still available.
