As a kid , watching Sesame Street was a daily routine and a huge part of growing up. The influence that show has on us as kids was everlasting , from the food we ate to the songs we could sing along to and of coarse the education value ! .. Let me not forget the many characters like Oscar / cookie monster / big bird and many many others .
Sesame street is still going strong with new episodes being released on Netflix and PBS, as well as the PBS Kids app. This follows a new deal with Netflix after the previous distributor, Max, did not renew its contract for new episodes.
