A Yarmouth trio are excited to play Nova Scotia Music Week.
Jessi Churchill, Marc Durkee and Spencer Muise make-up the indie folk-rock group ‘All Mother.’
They’ve got a showcase this Friday night at 8 p.m. at the old Art Gallery on Main Street, they’ve been working on a new album.
Muise says it will be special.
“You always have more family and friends there, plus all your musical friends you see every year at Music Week. This one feels extra special too with the album being finished, and us finally being able to show people these songs.” said Muise.

Muise and Durkee are Music Week veterans, having played with ‘Rain Over St. Ambrose’ at previous festivals.
They also got to take part in the 2023 event in Yarmouth as a trio.
Durkee says they plan to take everything in.
“When something like music week comes to your hometown, you have to take full advantage of that. We’ll be speaking with lots of people and catching up with old friends, we’re a band that’s trying to do as much as we can, and we take it very seriously,” said Durkee.
Churchill adds she’s excited to be part of it, and they’ll have a full band with them.
“It’s definitely going to be one of our biggest performances so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing all the artists that are in the showcase with us,” said Churchill.
‘All Mother’ just released a video for their single ‘Walk Beside Me,‘ filmed on the roof of the Yarmouth Mall.
They say they’re hoping to have their album out next year.
