When you were a kid, how did you feel going back to school after the summer? For me it depended on the year, most of pre and middle school I dreaded the day I went back because that meant I had to put up with the bullies again and the dreaded homework was back!
During my high school years I came to love the day, I got to tell my friends what I was up to, hear what they did, and get back to my favourite courses, Drama and Business!
Now I’m an adult I see a whole new side to the day everyone returns to the classrooms. As someone who drive’s I’m already anticipating things like heavier traffic, slower speed limits and the sound of kids on recess or lunch breaks.
As a parent, how do you feel when you send the kids back to school for the first class of the year?
