A big investment in early childhood education.
Universite Sainte-Anne is getting over $845,000 to offer training in the profession, with 30 students getting a full scholarship.
An additional 15 students will receive funding for classification training, all at the school in Church Point.
The joint-funding comes from the province and the federal government.
Minister of Jobs and Families Patty Hajdu says there would be no early learning and child care system without these educators, and better access is needed for Francophone communities.
The university will also offer two projects aimed at training in mental health, diversity and special needs, as well as promoting the profession.
