Calligraphy, also known as handwriting can be traced back as far back as the 11th century, first appearing on tablets made of bronze, using animal bones to write the text. The second Wednesday of August has been deemed “world Calligraphy Day” to bring awareness to what is otherwise a dying art.
When I was in middle school, I was at the tail end of it being taught at my school. by the end of 3rd grade all the classes grinded to a halt and there was no expectation to use it for any assignments. Nowadays, I try to keep up my knowledge of it up to date at any opportunity I get. Whether I’m writing list or a message on paper.
How often do you use calligraphy/handwriting?
