The Western Nova Scotia Exhibition is underway.
It’s happening at the Mariners Centre grounds, it’s on until Saturday.
Amy Rose with the agricultural society says kids 12 and under get in free this year.
“That was a huge commitment from Graves Electrical, they agreed to sponsor all youth admissions 12 and under. They truly believe that the exhibition should be for everyone and accessible,” said Rose.
The PEI Carnival Company has some rides on the midway, and bingo returns this year.
Entertainment includes a magician, circus performers and wrestling.
Rose says there’s something for everyone.
“We also have a two-day multicultural festival, music from Carson Fullerton, a singing contest, and of course our food vendors, the Kiddie Barn, truck pulls, ox-hauls, horse shows, and so much more.”
Because of construction at the Mariners Centre, some may have to park across Haley Road at the airport.
A free shuttle service will be offered in the late afternoon and evening.
