Nova Scotia Power will hold an in-person support session in Yarmouth on Tuesday, July 8, to assist customers with signing up for free credit monitoring following the company’s recent cyber incident.
The session is designed for people who may not have internet access or who are uncomfortable enrolling online. Staff will be available to provide guidance and help walk participants through the process.
The drop-in session runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mariners Centre on Jody Shelley Drive.
Customers are encouraged to bring their own mobile device, if possible. Nova Scotia Power representatives can also assist those who do not have an email address or access to a computer.
This session is solely focused on credit monitoring support. Customers with regular questions about their power accounts are asked to continue contacting the Customer Care Centre directly at 1-800-428-6230, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
