Summer weather is perfect for the beach .
We who live in Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby Counties are so fortunate to have access to beautiful beaches. Some are hardly ever visited by humans and their beauty is a hidden treasure.
Not too long ago I visited Cape Sable Island and decided to take a walk to a beach and found a series of beaches in the same area , the locals refer to this area as ” Green Hills ”
Cape Sable Island
A beautiful stretch of interconnected beaches and undisturbed dunes of white sand .
On this walk I happen to see the endangered piping plover. Those who visit beaches. Be careful where you step ” Eggs ” , dogs always on a leash and no all terrain vehicles . These are precious beautiful birds.
