A 32-year-old man from the valley is facing child pornography charges.
RCMP say his home was searched on Main Street in Middleton on February 27, where several electronics were seized including smartphones, computers and a hard drive.
After a forensic exam, the man was charged with Possession of Pornography and Failure to Comply with Prohibition Order.
The suspect appeared in court May 1, was released on conditions, and will reappear in court again June 9.
The investigation was part of Project Steel. A collaborative effort by law enforcement partners to target online child sexual exploitation offenders.
