We could be in for another mail strike.
Canada Post has walked away from the bargaining table with the union representing their workers.
The company says there’s been no progress, and the union has hardened their stance on key issues.
They say they’ll use this time to prepare more proposals aimed at moving discussions forward.
CUPW says there’s no word on when those proposals will be tabled, and the company is only driving more customers away.
An extension on the current collective agreement runs out May 22.
The federal labour board ordered workers back on the job in December after a weeks-long work stoppage.
