More public housing is coming to the province.
Growth and Development minister Colton LeBlanc announced 242 new new units are planned.
LeBlanc says it’s the single largest investment the government has made.
“We are investing another $136 million, bringing the total to 515 new public housing units in Nova Scotia,” said LeBlanc.
He adds the Houston government is working to get more people into homes faster.
“This will provide housing for up to 600 more Nova Scotians,” added LeBlanc.
The money is included in the upcoming provincial budget.
