Yarmouth’s MLA is preparing for his first legislative session.
Nick Hilton was elected for the Progressive Conservatives over former Liberal leader Zach Churchill, who held the seat for 14 years.
Hilton says he’s looking forward to getting started.
“Excited to support the Yarmouth community at that level. We’re a big government with 43 seats, so I have a lot of experienced people that I get to learn from, I’m excited for that part,” said Hilton.
He is also the ministerial assistant in Health and Wellness.
Hilton says it gives Yarmouth a unique perspective in what’s going on in that portfolio.
The first legislative session for this government begins on February 14.
