Construction on sidewalks in the Town of Yarmouth is done for 2024.
The town says they’ve completed multi-use trail phases 6 and 7, which extended the trail along Starrs Road.
They say residents can now enjoy a new path along the front of Mariners Centre from Haley Road to Jody Shelley Drive.
There’s also a new sidewalk between Pleasant Street and Clements Avenue.
This week, crosswalk signalling equipment will be installed.
A traffic light upgrade is slated for the Starrs Road/Pleasant Street intersection in the future.
