An 81-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash in Yarmouth County.
It happened before noon Tuesday at the intersection of Hardscratch and Greenville roads in Brooklyn.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection, the woman was driving one of the cars, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the same vehicle was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, the road re-opened early in the evening.
