A pair of Yarmouth Mariners received Player of the Month honours from the MHL.
Kyle McGuire was named the top defenseman for October.
The 19-year old had 11 points during the month, and leads all defenders in the league with 16 points.
Thomas Fontaine was named the league’s top goaltender.
He posted a nine-twenty-five save percentage during the month, and won 4 regulation games.
The Mariners next game is at home tomorrow night against Fredericton.
