It’s almost time for Nova Scotia Music Week.
The festival begins Thursday in Yarmouth and runs until Sunday.
There will be music showcases every night at several venues throughout town.
Executive Director of the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores Tourism Association Neil MacKenzie says it’s going to be a lot of fun.
“We have over 1,200 delegates and artists arriving. It’s going to be tremendous for the destination, and we’re happy this is creating secondary spending in our region,” said MacKenzie.
He says it’s especially great to have something like this during the shoulder-season of tourism.
Festival wristbands are sold-out for the event, but some tickets are available at the door.
