Yarmouth Rotary Ribfest served thousands over the weekend.
It was busy at Mariners Centre as five rib trucks from across North America were in town.
Linda Deveau, co-chair of the committee says they were very pleased with attendance.
“The fact that we had three glorious days of sunshine, we feel that we met our expectations. We feel that we equaled last year or a little better, and we’re very pleased with that,” said Deveau.
She says about 3,100 went through the gates on Friday, about 2,000 higher than opening day last year.
Proceeds from the event go to food insecurity projects in the Tri-Counties.
