A great ‘Day of Champions’ for Yarmouth County Minor Hockey Teams yesterday at Mariners Centre.
The U11 A Mariners became South Conference champions, defeating Western Valley.
The U15 B Mariners defeated Shelburne 3-2, while the U15 A Mariners went to two overtimes and a shootout to beat Western Valley.
The U13 AA Mariners beat Truro 10-5 in Pictou to become Scotia Minor Champions.
All teams are off to provincials.
