The Yarmouth Mariners are back in the win column.

Mariners Head Coach Laurie Barron says it was important to bounce back after Saturday’s loss to Valley.
“Nobody is going to give us a night off. Everyone is chasing us right now. Even though we have some key guys out right now (Reid Vos, Tamy Ettaqi, Jerome Nadeau,) we have to be ready to go every night. You have those kind of games every once in a while, but it was nice to see us bounce back,” said Barron.
The Mariners lost to Wildcats 7-3, despite putting up 70 shots.
Mariners co-captain Kieran Burke returned to the line-up yesterday after serving a seven game suspension for a high-hit in Bridgewater.
Yarmouth leads the MHL standings by six points over the Blizzard.
Their next game is on the road Thursday against South Shore, then they’ll travel to Truro to take on the Bearcats on Friday night.
The Mariners are back home again Sunday night against the Lumberjacks.
