The YCMHS Varsity Girls Basketball team won the ‘Heart and Soul’ tournament at home over the weekend.
They defeated Parkview 63-51 in the championship game, their third tournament win of the season.
The Vikings went 4-0 in the tournament, also getting wins over Yarmouth JV, Shelburne and Sommet.
In the championship game, Georgia Bain had 15 points, Janaya Hiltz had 12, Gabrielle Hiltz had 12 points and 12 rebounds, Morgan MacLean had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five steals, Zayna Eissa had eight points, nine rebounds and seven steals.
Janaya Hiltz was named tournament MVP.
