High School Basketball:
The Yarmouth High Varsity Girls basketball team won the Parkview Panthers tournament in Bridgewater over the weekend.
They defeated Parkview 62-53 in the championship game.
They got by Millwood by 10 in the semifinal, and defeated Bay View earlier in the tournament.
The girls will host the Heart and Soul Tournament beginning January 27th.
Valley High School Hockey League:
The Yarmouth High Vikings edged Par-en-Bas 3-2 yesterday in boys hockey action at Mariners Centre.
Luke MacLeay scored the winner in the third period, completing a three-goal comeback for the Vikings.
