The Yarmouth Mariners won their eighth straight game last night, 7-2 over the Ramblers in Amherst.
Alex Roode led the way with a hat-trick for Yarmouth, who led 5-0 at one point.
Jerome Gilbert, Jerome Nadeau, Ryan Semple and Franco Canevari added goals, and Joey Lovullo made 24 saves for his fourth win of the season.
The Mariners continue their road swing in Fredericton tonight, and will stop in Summerside tomorrow and Truro on Tuesday.
Yarmouth finally returns home next Thursday, December 15th against the Valley Wildcats.
They sit in first place in the MHL standings with 17 wins in 24 games.
