Most Tire Companies will tell you the best time to install your Winter treads is before the temperature drops below 7 degrees Celsius , or before the first snowfall ( That could be tomorrow or next week ) . Many of us will get our Winter Tires put on towards the end of November or first week of December. best to get them on as early as possible to avoid the rush on service departments after the first snowfall. ( you know how busy that can be ).

I have owned vehicles that I have used studded winter tires , the added traction is great but the road noise is much more than a regular tire. Studded tires can only remain on a vehicle from October 15 until May 31st . CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO .
