A local fishing captain came to the rescue of four people in Yarmouth County.
Around 2 a.m. Friday, Yarmouth Rural RCMP got word of a sinking boat in Great Pubnico Lake.
When police arrived, they learned four people on the boat went overboard.
They say the captain knew the area well, and picked up the boaters.
The four were treated on scene by paramedics and released.
