Good Morning !
It’s getting so close to Halloween that you can almost smell the candle wax burning in the pumpkin.
Kids are anxious to go out and show off their costume to family members and friends, just to guess who they are, that was all the fun on Halloween, well that and the CANDY of coarse.
This has me thinking, at what age should you let your trick or treaters venture out on their own. I realize that a Town setting is much different from a rural one. In town kids walk a street with many houses close to one another whereas in a rural community the houses can be a fair distance from one another.
The right age for an unsupervised Halloween is the subject of debate. Parenting experts have agreed on 13 years old – even though some U.S towns have tried to cut off trick or treating at age 12. (So you can’t go out alone until you’re old enough not to want to go out at all?)
