The Yarmouth Mariners fell 4-3 in overtime to the Valley Wildcats in Windsor last night.
Andrew Stuckless, Jerome Nadeau and Nolan Cleary scored for Yarmouth, Christophe Beluse took the loss in net.
The exhibition game was played at the new West Hants Sports Complex.
The teams meet again this Sunday night in Yarmouth in the final exhibition game before the regular season.
