The RCMP have charged a Yarmouth man with child pornography offences.
On Friday, Yarmouth Town RCMP responded to a complaint involving child pornography on Parade St.
They found a tablet containing child pornography and arrested the owner, 37 year-old Anthony Earl George Corporong.
Yarmouth Town RCMP, Yarmouth Rural RCMP and Meteghan RCMP then executed a search warrant at a home in Beaver River, Digby County, seizing cellular phones and electronic devices.
Corporong was charged with Possession of Child Pornography, was remanded into custody and appeared in Yarmouth Provincial Court today.
The RCMP remind citizens that in Nova Scotia it is mandatory to report suspected child pornography.
