Yarmouth Recreation has lots of fun planned for Canada Day.
There’s going to be entertainment throughout the day at Killam’s Wharf, culminating in a fireworks show.
“We’re happy that we can get some fireworks happening again and looking forward to everyone coming out throughout the day celebrating Canada’s birthday.” says Yarmouth Recreation Director Frank Grant.
You’ll also be able to get a free breakfast at HOPE Center at 9 a.m. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. there’s going to be carnival games for kids at Yarmouth South Playground and Ice Cream and Birthday Cake at the Cape Forchu Lightstation.
Grant is glad to be able to hold large events.
“Kinda getting back to 2019 pre-covid days when we could actually have large group gatherings and lots of fun activities happening throughout Yarmouth.”
