The RCMP have recovered items they believe were stolen during break-ins in the Lake George area.
Between December 27, 2021 and January 22, 2022, police responded to six break-ins at seasonal properties in the Lake George, Cedar Lake, Briar Lake and Brazil Lake areas. Tools, sports gear and various other items were stolen.
In May, a vehicle believed to have been involved in the break-ins was found and searched. RCMP recovered a number of items, including items belonging to the property owners of the break-ins.
Their items were returned but number of unrelated items were also found.
Police are asking people who have had items stolen in the Lake George, Cedar Lake, Briar Lake and Brazil Lake areas to contact the Yarmouth Rural RCMP at 902-742-9106.
