Two men have been fined in Shelburne Provincial Court for illegally selling lobster.
Terry Dale Banks was ordered to pay $30,000 by the court, while Tyler David Nickerson was ordered to pay $15,000.
Both were charged and convicted of Trade or Barter of Fish Caught Without an Enumerated License.
The fines stem from charges in the summer of 2018 when they were caught by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans selling lobster in Shag Harbour.
The lobsters were caught under an Indigenous Food, Social and Ceremonial (FSC) license.
The two men were sentenced in Shelburne Provincial Court last week.
