The Municipality of Clare wants public feedback on accessibility.
They’ve launched an online survey in hopes of gathering information on how the public feels about barriers and challenges within Clare.
It’s part of the province’s goal to be fully accessible by 2030.
A committee has been formed to gather information from the survey, and include it in an accessibility plan.
Chair and councillor for District 7 Nadine Comeau says they want to hear from people who are directly and indirectly affected by barriers in the municipality.
The survey is open on clarenovascotia.com until April 25th, and paper copies are available at the municipal office.
Several other municipalities are also working on a plan, and the Town of Yarmouth recently passed theirs at a council meeting.
