A Concession man has sustained life-threatening injuries after a home invasion.
Police say at 7:25 a.m. yesterday, Meteghan RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Second Division Rd. in Concession. They arrived to find a 64-year-old man had been attacked in his home. He was transported to hospital by EHS.
The investigation is ongoing according to police and is being led by the Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact Meteghan RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit is being assisted by the RCMP Forensic Identification Services, RCMP Police Dog Services, Meteghan RCMP, Southwest RCMP Traffic Services, Digby RCMP, Yarmouth RCMP General Investigation Section and the Clare/Yarmouth RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit.
